Our Stay Pawsome program aims to support local animal shelters and individuals in need by fostering cats and dogs, providing both temporary homes for animals in shelters and a safe haven for pets of those facing financial hardship.
By fostering animals, we are able to free up space in shelters, allowing them to rescue and care for even more animals in need. Additionally, we can help pet owners who may be struggling financially by providing a temporary home for their beloved companions until they are able to care for them again.
To make this program a success, we need your support. We are seeking sponsors to help us secure a location to expand this program.
Together, we can make a difference in the lives of animals and humans alike. Your support will benefit the animals in our community .
Join us in making our community a better place for all living beings. Let's Stay Pawsome together!

Between 5% to 10% of homeless people in the United States own pets (mainly dogs and/or cats). Of the 241,117 dogs and cats that entered North Carolina shelters, 170,753 found positive placements, while 47,652 were killed (76% were cats), for a save rate of 70.82%. 25.58% of North Carolina shelters are no-kill (a state is considered to be no-kill when every brick-and-mortar shelter serving and/or located within the state has a save rate of 90% or higher).
